STK CHARLOTTE, NC
Completed in October 2023, this 8,000 sq ft interior renovation and exterior modernization included total demolition of existing space to create a new upscale steak house in Uptown Charlotte. I had the opportunity to work on this project from the beginning to the end; after attending the initial site visit, I built the 3D Revit model for renderings and design presentations, construction documentation, and project coordination. From the exterior curved facade to the interior ribbons, everything was modeled in revit which helped majorly in the coordination among all trades to execute the project successfully.

The total guest seats for this restaurant are roughly 450 including the mezzanine, main level, and patio. We provided a variety of seating options from open four-top tables, booths, and banquette seating at the raised platform, 2 indoor bars, 3 private dining rooms in the mezzanine, and outdoor open and soft seating to provide a comfortable and unique experience for all the guests.

Modeling complex shapes and problem-solving is a virtue I get to have due to the countless hours, and various projects I've been able to work on.
STK was no different, while at Aria Group, I created a way to design and model these ribbons digitally, more seamlessly and straightforwardly, utilizing Revit capabilities to control the look of these. I was able to share my knowledge with other designers and they were able to implement the workflow into their projects, creating a more cohesive look among these projects.

• Created sketches for multiple ceiling design options to share with the client before full 3D interior modeling
• Interior design and renderings for design development presentations, utilizing Revit, enscape, and Photoshop.
• FFE implementation and 40% specialty finish selection, 60% of finishes are prototypical
• Contributed with construction documents; specific to floor finish plans and schedules, elevations, furniture plans, and schedules, reflected ceiling plans and general overlook and assistance with the entire CD set
• Generated extensive research for exterior facade products, as well as interior ceiling systems, to be used in current and future prototypical projects, and coordinated with 20+ companies to receive pricing and lead times to facilitate the decision-making for the final exterior and ceiling interior finish
• Compiled and shared a non-prototypical finishes package for all current ongoing STK locations
• Construction administration with the collaboration and assistance of my team at Aria Group
